The Premjer has written to the Chairman of the meeting which met yesterday to consider the proposed tariff, stating that it is the intention of the Government to carefully scrutinize the many suggestions before bringing down the Customs Duties Bill, At a meeting of members again this morning a resolution was passed placing on record their disapproval of any increase in the Customs duty at the present time,
