[UnictdPito Association,] MURDER AND SUICIDE,
0 amaru; June 22, News lias been received in town of a dreadful .tragedy at Herbert on Sunday night. A storekeeper named Henry •White, 21 years of age, shot dead Ada Patterson, aged 11 years, daughter of a local publican, and afterwards committed suicide by blowing out his brains, The affair occurred in Patterson's hotel, where both bodies now lie, awaitjng an inquest. Full particulars have not yet been received, and no cause is assigned for the deed.
