ALFREDTON ROAD BOARD.

The annual meeting of ratepayers was held on Saturday, the 9th May.. Mr D. C. Macquarie presided, The balance sheet wbb read, and on the motion of Mr Von Reden, adopted. The statement of receipts and expenditure for the year ending 31st March, showed receipts £2Ol 14s 9d, expenditure £53 3s Id, credit balance £136 lis Bd.

After the above meeting, the ordinary' meeting of the Board was held. Present —Messrs Kobbell, Macquarie, Napier, Von Rodon, and Saunders. Mr Macquarie was elected Chairman.
