. - Patea, this day. ' The building, plant, and machinery if the West Coast Freezing Company were totally destroyed by fire at two o'clock this morning. The cause is a perfect, mystery, as the fire originated in a portion of the building in which no fire whateverhad been used for some weeks. Everything but the felmongery building was totally 'destroyed, The insurances, so far as has as yet been ascertained, are, tiiulding and machinery £I,OOO, stock £SOO, refrigerator 700. The original cost of the building was £4,500.
