Sir,—Ab bo much has bLflpaid about the report brought up by the MastertonMangahao Land Settlement Committee, perhaps it would not be out of place to inform- those of your.,"readers who are interested in the matter that the Committee never made a report at'all. Any member may satisfy himself on this matter by referring to the minute book of the Committee. This was .consequently most irregular. The paper submitted to the meeting was drawn up -by onef'"' Jju members of the Committee and to the general meeting of the Associ&Hß without having been agreed to by the Committee.
