TOWN LANDS TRUST.
TO THE EDITOR, Sir,-Your valuable leader in yesterdays issue will, I feel Bure fully inspire our fellow citizens to seriously consider before recording their votes on the 30th inst, whether the present Trustees have done their duty for the bonetit of thoir fellow settlers or not. It is to be dovoutly hoped that the electors will fairly and honestly consider without being carried away with clap-trap. The benefit which the Trustees have done during their term of office for our schools, our library, and public park, and if tho electors find that the Trustees have done their, duty, and conferred upon our citizens and their ; children substantial benefits, why, I ask in the name of justice and common sense, remove that confidence and place it in the hands of strangers who are only come amongst us for a short time? Do not, my j fellow electors, encourage this rowdyism,
but record your votes on the 30th inat., for those who have for many years done their duty and toiled amongst us for the benefit of the town, I am • EtTOTOR.
