Oiawa, April 1. - A serious rebellion has broken out in the northwest qf Canada, and is rapidly extending. -Many Indian tribes have joined the insurgents and several encounters have taken place between the latter and the police. Reinforcements, consisting of five thousand troops and polico have been despatched to the scene of the rising.
