WAR IN THE SOUDAN

'. r - 'v.-, Suakim, March 26, The hostile-Arabs made, an attack today on a'convoy which was proceeding to the zareba which had been formed on the roadtoTamai. -The attack was repulsed ..by the British troops, the enemy losing 100 men, the. only casualties on the English side being three wounded. A general advance of the whole force, is expected to take place during the next three days. London March 25. 'The Arabs keep up an incessant fire on the convoys in the neighbourhood of Suakim. Their losses are heavy, and include a number of women. Lieutenant A. E. Marchant, of the Royal Marines, was .wounded in the leg but not severely, during the attack by the rebels on the convoy.
