WASTE LANDS BOARD.

(Prom the Evening Press.) The ordinary meeting of thq above was held yesterday mtvning. Present—Messrs Marchant (in tlio chair), H, Bunny, W, Fitzherbert, W, W, McOardlo, and J. Mason. The Chairman reported that no land had been sold since last meeting of the Board. '''' ' ■ ■ - An application from Mr AUison to foil b.yah on Crop Land was refused. Mr'J. The question was discussed of withdrawing from sale certain unsold sections hi the l.qkomaril Block, owing to the reported discovery of gold, snfl it fas resolved that as the gqld discqyery \ya§ qnly a myth, the sections should again be' cjpon for sale.
