The ordinary monthly, meeting of the above was held on Saturday, last. Present Messrs B. Boys (chairman), Booth, Ij!rai% waite, H. R. Bunny. In answer to Mr Gallon re ;■ Waterson's Line, Mr King said that.,he . did survey the road off, Mr Gallon complained that Mr Price's, fonco was on the line of road,Mr Price waited on the Board in reference to clearing the creek", on Dalefield road from water-ereßses, as, they caused tho water to overflow. : :Mr Gallon objected to any more money being spent on that road as-they had more than their share of the rates already, and in reference to the fence Mr-Price stated that he certainly should not : removo his fence, unless it was clearly proved by a Government surveyor that it -was wrong. An application from Sir Meenkin ra road was allowod to stand over till after the new rates were received,'. It was resolved—That the Chairman be empowered to get some repajp done on the Cemetery road. That Mr Parker be allowed to spend £4loa on Park road in bush-falling. That £2OO be spent on Francis' line, the same to he paid for out of the rates of Nos. 1, 2, and 3 Wards.
It was • moved by Mr Booth and ' seconded by Mr Parker, That a rate of ' |d in the £ be levied fj>r the ensuing - year, payable in one sum on,pr before the : Ist day qf Mafch, 1885. • : . Aocounts were passed for payment amounting to £lßl lis! ■ It was resolved, That tendors be called for formation of three miles, more or less, of road at Mat Point, and also for some works which are needed on the Gladstone- : Wainuioru Road.. This completed the business of the meeting.
