[United Press Association.J Kaikouha, This day, A house belonging to John Harnett, senr., was destroyed by fire last night, the inmates having little.time to escape. The building was insurod for £3OO in the New Zealand on Saturday. John Gill, head shepherd on the Clarence run fell down a precipice and fractured his skull. His"recovery is doubtful.
