FEATHERSTON RACES.

There wasa fair muster of visitors at the Featherston Race meeting .yester-. day, though'in the 'absence of special, f rain accommodation there was nothing like the number ot persons present, who would have amended oh- New Year's Day. had t.he_ weather been fine.
