Tuadessien's Club v Upper Puin, A match between the above clubs was played in Messrs McGregor Bros,' paddock at Upper Plain yesterday afternoon and resulted in a win for the Plain Club. The Tradesmen left about one o'clock in a drag, and play commenced shortly after their arrival. Messrs Harrison (Upper Plain) and Wickens (Tradesmen's C.C.) captained the teems, yjiile Messrs Eggulden and Sleemen acted as umpires. Harrison won the toss and elected tp go in.,. Tho Plain men were disposed of for 41, Harrison making 25 (not out) of this number by good cricket. The Tradesmen then went in and ran their score
up to 44—three beyond their opponents, Ewington and Wickerson got Into double figures, making 12 and 11 respectively, E.
