'Jhe District liace is open to all horßes owned in the district at least six months previous to this race meeting. In case of a protest the same must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been tun, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winner of the S stone Hack Race will not be allowed to run for the ono on the second day, No Eoratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and 15 minutes before tho time of starting.
