Hack races are open to hornes that havenever won an advertised race other than back races, or that have not run foranadvortised race for six mouths previous to date of meeting. The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this race meeting. In case of a protest the same must bo lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if tho protest be found trivial or voxatious, The winnar of the 8 stone Hack Race will not be allowed to run for tho one on tho second day, No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and 15 minutes before the .time of starting. All entries to be made on the Club's print od forms, entrance' money enclosed, with name, age at the tine of ontry. and pedigree of the horse, name of owner, and colors of rider.
