ROLES AND REGULATIONS. . To bo run under the Masterton and Opaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling BeH'will ring at 12 each day, and the first race start at 12.30 o'clock,- The time for starting each event will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race, Hack races are open to horses that havonever won an advertised race other than hack races, or that have not run for an advertised race for six months previous to date of meeting. The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this ra'Ce meeting. In case of a protest the samo must bo lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes aftor the race has beon run,.with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be. forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious, The winnor of the 8 stone Hack Race will not be allowed' to ruu for the one on the second day, ' No scratching of horses allowed, unlois • through tho Soerotary, and 15 miuutes before the of . starting.
