BULBS AND REGULATIONS, To bo run under the Mastorton and Opaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell"will ring at 12 each day, and tho first raco stark at 12.30 o'clock, The time for starting each event will be duly posted on the conrse after each preceding race. Hack races are open to horses that havenever won an advertised race other than hack races, or that have not run for an advertised race for six months previous to date of mooting. The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this race meeting. In case of a protest the same must bo lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. Tho winnar of the 8 stone Hack Race will not be allowed to inn for the one on the second day, No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and 15 minutes before tho time of starting, All entries to be made on tho Club's print ed forms, entrance money enclosed, with namo, ago at the time of entry, and pedigree of the horse, name of owner, and colors of rider. Entry forms supplied by tho Secretary on application. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to he given. No entry will be accepted unless accompani wih amount of entrance moueif nor wii'l any enuy be received after Ine hour named, under a y pretence whatever. Any jockey riding excent in the colors entered will be fined 2 soi's, The amonntfor second and third horse will be deducted from the advertised amount of stakes, Weights for Tradesmans Handicap nnd Distr'ct Handicap wiil be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock-' on the evening of the first day's races. Acceptances for same will close sarao evening Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be made to the Secretary 15 minutes after the District Handicap is i un, W eights will ho declared 15 minutes after the nominations have closed ; acceptances will close 15 minutes after the weights have been declared. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent only of the stakes.
