Albany, October 20. The P. and 0. steamship Carthage, with the Briwlisi mails dated London, September 19, arrived in King George's Sound this afternoon. London, October 20. It is currently, stated here"that the Brithish expedition into Soudan will advance towards Khartoum early in November, by which time it is believed that all preparations will have been made, and that the JNile will be in a favorable condition for the'passage of the troops by boat.
