A. letter from Mr Rhodes, Asking the Board to allow him to fall bush on tho road line fronting section 16, and to remit the rates till such time as it was outset: A bill wb3 received from the Woodville Examiner for advertising and stationary," £1 los Gd. Resolved—That Mr Rhodes be informed that he can fall the bush on tho road liae on conditions that he waits for payment till the Board require the line in question; also that the Board declines dealing with the rates as proposed. Dissatisfaction was expressed at thj long delay in adjusting financia matters between the Masterton High way Board and this district, the greate portion of the £4OO refunded by th County bemg due to this district whicl was No. 1 Ward of tho old Mastertoi Koad Board.
