Bane're, its Minister at the Egyptian Court, to formally demand the withdrawal of the proclamation and recognition of the function of the decree of the Khedive in 1880. The latest intelligence from the Soudan states that|tho Mahdi is about to resume the offensive, and since the soige of Khartoum was raised has been engaged m gathering an army of rebel troops, which in consequence of General Gordon's continual success, is about to be despatched against Khartoum.
