(To the Editor.) Sir—Your article on the scab question in your issue of the 2nd inst. must meet with the approval of all practical men who have studied the Sheep Act and watched the administration in the North Wairarapa, If the intentions, of the Act were carried out no one would seek amendments which have become necessary to compel those Inspectors who with administrapowers have not the administrative qualities, to keep within bounds of the intentions of the Act. I venture to say that there are good men to be found in the colony competent to fulfil the duties of Chief Inspector, who have both the ability and disposition to eradicate disease without eradicating settlers, I am disc, Sheep Farmer,
