A Would BE Temperance Advocate.
To the Editor, Sir,—Would you kindly correct an error which appeared in your issue of yesterday. I am credited with having erected the Wainuioru bridge at Brancepeth, whoreas Mr Dawson or Reese and Dawson are the contractors entitled to the credit of having completed the best bridge in the Wairarapa, which it undoubtedly is, both in style and finish. Honor to .whom honor is due, My share in that work ie merely the finishing of tho approaches and connecting the old road to Brancepeth with the bridge. I am, &c, T. P. Girdwood. Masterton, July 14th.
