MR BUNNY'S MEETING.

Mr Bunny, at his meeting last evening, made fun of the Wairarapa Daily. He played this trick three years ago with tolerable success, and amongst other claptrap last night, he repeated it, He is very welcome, as far as we are concerned, to rail at the Wairarapa Daily or its editor. He is engaged in a somewhat hopeless struggle, and we do not feel disposed to retaliate by a single unkindly word. In his speech he lays himself open to severe criticism, but we desire to pass lightly ovor its faults and failings. He has made a mistake in coming forward in the present contest! He will never more be a member for the Wairarapa, but he will always be an ex-member, whose services in by-gone years will live in our memories.
