ROBBING A DEAD SISTER,
August Schlueter, of 503 North Halsted-street, Chicago; was" robbed of about 800dols.in cash; recently by his brother-in-law, a young fellow who is known in this country as Fritz Frank, although his real name is Frederick Kleinent. The robbery was one of both bold and daring recklessness. His sister was lying.on asickbed from which it was thought she would never rise. The money was kept in a small box in the mattress, the location beinc known to Frank, who has boarded there for five or six months. He raised his dying sister, from the bed, took the box from beneath her pillow and then ho secured all the cash in tho box, tho »monnt being little short of 800dols, Although there was some valuable jewellery in the box, he took nothing but the money. The matter was, very promptly reported to the police, but no trace of Prank had been found by the force, althongh Schluetter claims that Frank was seen on the North side on Tuesday night.—Chicago Herald.
