LOWES AND IORNS' STOCK SALE.
Lowes and lonis' Stock Salo was well attended yesterday, some 4000 sheep, small [lot of cattle, and a number of horses, pigs, and poulty being yarded, all selling with tho exception' of two pens [of sheep, the prices being considered good, although the rates of last sale were not maintained; the rush of local sheep and numbers from Hawke's Bay rather glutting the market, Tho lines sold and prices realised were as follows: 158 cross bred ewes in lamb, 8a 9d 85 fat wethers, small, lis 60 fat ewes, small, lis 53 small fat sheep, 7s 4d 79 2-tootli wethers, good, 9s 7d.'/ : 59 ewes, 7s 4d - r, 100 aged cross bred ewes, 6s lOd 1 • 80 2-tooth, merino, 7s 7d 100 aged ewes, 7s 300 good ewes, in lamb, 10s Id ; 80 do do 9s 8d 50 fat merino wethers, 7s Id ! . ! 635 merino ewes, 4s 17 0 good store wethers, 9s lOd 107 heavy fat wethers, 13s 6d 400 merino' do 10s 3d 714 half-bred lambs, 7s 160 Romney Marsh lambs, 7s lid 53 culled lambs, 4s 20 do do 3s 3d • Shorn lambs, 4s 6d Lincoln rams,- 30s Merino do 40s Komney do 20s Horses from £4 to £9 10s foung cattle, 2-year-olds, 48s. Pigs, small, 7s 6d to 9s Do large, 15ii to 34s
