Goorfio Thomas reports produce prices as follows: —Flour, of undoubted quality, is firm nt £11; second brands, £lO 103; oats, principally Marlborough production, command 29 3d to 2s Gd for lair to prime samples; fowls wheat, of good whole grain, is rather scarce, and may be quoted at 3s; fowl's barley, market full and slow of sale from 2s Gd to 2s 9d; maiza (New Zealand), 3s Gd to 3s 8d; bran, £4 to £4 ss; pollard, £5, in good demand for winter supplies; oaton chaff, £4 10s, beans 3s 9d; Brown River and Derwent potatoes are now being offered in large parcels at 60s, exclusive of sacks; carrots, 42s Gd; Canterbury cheese rules from 4£a to sd; stocks are still large and no improvement in price is anticipated at present; hams and bacon, 9d ali round; salt butter is easier, and maybe bought at B|d and 9d; fresh, 9|d to lOd. .
