Drmnmond v Bellis—Breach of Sheep Act, Mr Bunny for informant," no appearance of defendant.
J. Drummond, Inspector of sheep,' deposed that he had inspected the flock of defendant and issued a notice to clean the sheep on tho 14th of March, The six months mentioned in the notice expired on tho 14th of September, On the 13ih of December .'the witness found the flock- still scabby. At • that date his flock had been increased from one thousand to fifteen hundred sheep. Witness was not satisfied with the efforts defendant had made to clean his flock, "•'..:..
J. Wallace Smith, Inspector, of sheep, deponed that he inspected the sheep in January last, There were to. the run at the time 124!) old sheep and 268 lambs. There was seal) in the flock, The Court inflicted a line of £25 and costs, being sixpence a head on the thousand sheep mentioned in the original notice.
