AVahdell, R.M.] Henry Khodes was charged, on the information of Constable Darby, witli Laving assaulted Mrs Moody on the 12th of January, The evidence showed that defendant, on tho day named, ~ went to the house where Mrs Moody was, and seizing her by the throat nearly strangled her. She fell and tho defendant kicked her in the back. Defendant was sentenced to one month's hard labor, There were no civil cases for hearing,
