UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, Friday. Mr Stoddarb, of Hampden, an Otago settler who lias returned by the Aorangi, brought out with him 100,000 Loch Leven trout uva. The boxes have been opened here, and it is found that a considerable proportion are dead, some apparently having not been impregnated, The ova in tho box, however, -k in fairly good condition, and will be forwarded to Otago by the Te Anau on Monday. Messrs Levin and Co., agents of the steamer Napier, .have received a telegram this morning stating that that steamer went ashore inside the mouth of the llangitikei river, and is making a great deal of water. Assistance is immediately wanted, Dunemn, Friday, Tho Refrigerating Company has declared a dividend of 10 percent, Auckland, Friday. Arrived—ship Turakina (late City of Perth), Captain Power, and barque Lutterworth, Captain Pearson, from London. Wellington, Friday. The agents of the Fusilier received the following telegram from the captain this morning: " Every tide is driving tho vessel further up tho teach."
The steamer Napier is insured for •£2250, distributed amongst several offices, the names of which are not yet known. Captain Bendall, of the Underwriters' Association, leaves for .Rangitikei to-night,
