The balance-sheet for the- past year was read and adopted; "Tho Secretary to requested to inform the Board that it was inconvonient to • forward all Committee books to Wellington for audit; aB they ran the risk of being lost and mislaid, and that -if the Iroard/cottld, not. send an auditor to the Wairaripa, •- conijp were' obtainable in this district. A letter,.was read from the ; board asking for nominations to fill the vacancies caused by the retirement of Messrs Bunny,':|uchanan'.'and'Hutchison. The. committee.decided' .to nominate Messrsßunny and Buchanan. The Chairman roported that the boundaries ;or\; the ..Masterton School District bad been redefined, and Mr Rapp called attention to the fact that the Board j while publishing the boundary fo;,;Wellragfoa had ; ignored the Wairarapa papers.'"'
