(to the editor), Sir,—ln your issae of the 4th inst, I notice a Utter signed " Maori." He ham evidently made a mistake in attributing the authorship of that long letter to mo, But as lie has somewhat llattored my feelings I will forgive him this time and in return give a word of advice—when he again lays himself out to correct anyone lie should explain himself and not leave people in the dark just as he is getting interesting. He certainly is not an educated Maori or ho would not spell Tutaekra" Tutaekara," Would " Maori" kindly oblige your own correspondent through your valuable paper with a literal translation in English for both tames.
