GREYTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The usual monthly meeting was held on Monday evening, Present—His "Worship the Mayor and Crs Kimberley, St George, Gallagher, Udy, Jones, and Beard. Correspondence outwards was read from tho letter book. Inwards, from the returning officer reporting the election of Mr Wood as Mayor aud Mr D. P. Loasby as Councillor; from 0. W. Hornblow re impounding of Mrs Meraon's cows. Mr Loasby made the usual declaration and took his seat.
ft was resolved that the ranger be asked toexplain to the Council at next meeting re impounding Mrs Mersou's cows. The Works and Finance Oommitteeß reports were read and adopted. Resolved thai written notice be givon to those who had neglected lo keep their crossings over the waterlables clear to have the same cleared without delay. Tho meeting then adjourned.
