McDonagh were charged with administering croton oil to an informant named Hortonthe. Tlie affair is said to have arisen out of a practical joke, but the bencli committed all four defendants for trial at tho next sitting of the Supreme Courts Wellington, Friday. The Rev James Henry Luke, the wellJmown Wesleyan minister, died here last night.
