MASTERTON SWIMMING CLUB.
A general meeting of the members of the above Club was-held, at the Club Hotel oil Saturday ovening, Mr C, DeCastro in the chair. The rules, as recommended by the Committee, were read and adopted with slight alterations. It was decided that the colors of the Club bo red, and the competing costume singlet, and drawers to tho knee. That sweepstako contests bo held ou alternato Saturday afternoons, commencing at 3 o'clock, the first contest to take place on Saturday next. Tho Secretary was instructed to keep a record of the number of points scored at those contesta, as it is the Club's intention of presenting a trophy at the end of the season to the highest scoter, Rules were drawn up for the guidance of competitors, and the following programmes were adopted Saturday, 24th inst,: Long Dive, 80 yda Raco, Youths' Raco (80 yds), Swimming on Back (80 yds); December Bth: Egg Dive, 160 yds Race, Swimming on Back, (Youths 80 yds), Ono Hand Flag Race (50 yds); December 22nd: Leap Frog, (6 jumps, 60 yds), 240 yds Race, Youths Long Divo, Fancy Diviug, Swimming both hands out of water, All evonts to be handicapped.
