EDLES AND REGULATIONS. To be run under the the MastertonOpalci Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell will ring at 11.30 each day, and the first; race start at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each event will be duly posted on the course "aiter each preceding race, Hack Races are open to horses that never won an advertised race other than Hack Eaces; or that have not niu for an advertised race tor six months previous to dato oi meeting. The District Raco is open to all heraea owned in; the. district at least six months previous to this race meeting, In case of a protest the same must' be lodged with the Secretary within'ls minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to he forfeited' if the protest bo. found trivial or vexatious. The winner of tho first day's Hack Race will not bo allowed to ; run for the ono on the second day, No porsoii will be allowed to enter a horse for any race (Hack Bace excepted) unless he be a subscriber of at.least £1 to tho raco fund! No scratching of horses allowed; unless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes before the time of starting. Entries for Maiden Plato and nominations for Railway Plato Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, District Handicap, and Hurdle Handicap to be mado in writing and addressed to the Hon. Becretiiry, Mastorton, not later than 9 o'clock/on THURSDAY evening, NOVEMBER Bth. Entrance money enclosed with namo, age' at tbo time of entry, pedigree; and in'.'the cane of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of owner, and colors of the rider. Any jookey riding except in tho colors entored will be fined 2 sovs. No entries will be received after* that night either by letter or telegram. Weights for Railway Plate Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, and Handicap Hnrdles to be declared at Club Hotel on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21st, at 8 o'clock p.m. Acceptances for same to be declared on Thursday evening, November 29th at 9 o'olook. Weights for the District Handicap to be declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on the evening of the first day's racesAcceptances for same will close same evening. Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be mado to tho secretary fifteen minutes after the District Handicap is tun, Weights to be deolared fifteen minutes aftor the nominations have closed; and acceptances will close fifteen minutes after the weights have been declared. Horses walking over will receive fifty per cent: only of the stakes. ' 1
