To be run under tho the MastertonOpaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell will ring at 11.30 each day, and the first race start at 12 o'clock. Tho time for starting each event will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. Hack Races are open to horses that never won an advertised race other than Hack Races; or that have not run for an advertised race tor six months previous to date of meeting, The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this race meeting. In case of a protest the Bame must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit of £2, suoh deposit to be forfeited -if tho protest be found trivial or vexatious. Tho winner of the first day's Hack Race will not be allowed to run for the one on the seeond day. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race (Hack Race excepted) unless he bo a subscriber of at least £1 to the race fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes before the time of storting, Entries for Maiden Plato and nominations for Railway Plate Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, District Handicap, and Hurdle Handicap to be made in writing and addressed to the Hon, Secretary, Masterton, not later than 9 o'clock on THURSDAY evening, NOVEMBER Bth. Entranco money enclosed with name, age at the time of entry, pedigree, and in the case of handicaps, performances of tho horse, name of owner, and colors of tho ridor, Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 2 boys. No entries will be received after that night either by letter or telegram, Weights for Railway Plate Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, and Handicap Hurdles to be declared at Club Hotel on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21st, at 8 o'clock p.m. Acceptances for same to be declared on Thursday evening, November 29th at 9 o'clook.
