Handicap Hack Race, of 10 sovs, Open to all horses that have never started for any weight-fpr-ago race or handicap race other than hack races; 1§ miles. Post entry, 10s 8, Consolation Handicap, of 15 bovb, Open to all losing horses (horses engaged in the Sapling Stakes, Selling Eace, and Handicap Haok Race excepted), Post entry, £1; I milo and a distance RULES AND REGULATIONS. The above races to.be run under tho Lower Valley Jockey Club Rules, with tho exception of the two steeplechase races, which will be strictly run under the Now Zealand Grand National Steeplechase Rules, except where otherwise specified in this programme The saddling bell will rin? at 11,30 a.m.. and tho first race start at 12 o'clock noon sharp, Tho time for starting each event will ho duly posted on the course after each preceding race, in case of a protest, the same must be lodged with tho Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race has been run, with a deposit or 2 sovs, such deposii to bo forfeited if tho protest bo considered trivial or vexatious, No person will be allowed to enters horse in any race, (Novel Eace and Hack Eace excepted) unless he be a subscriber of at least £1 Is to the Race Fund.
