To be run under the the Mast'ertonOpaki Jockey Club Rules. The Saddling Bell will ring at 11,30 each day, and the first race start at 12 o'clock. The tiino for starting each event will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. Hack Races aro open to horses that never won an advertised race other than Hack Races j or that havo not run for an advertised race tor six months provious to date oi mooting, The Dißtriot Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to this raco meeting. In case of a protest the same must be lodged with tho Secretary within 15 minutes after tho race has been run, with a deposit of £2, suoh deposit- to bo forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winner of the first day's Hack Race will not be allowed to tun lor the one on the second day, No person will bo allowed to onter a horse for any raco (Hack Race excepted) unless he bo a subscriber of at least £1 to the race fund. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and fifteen minutes before tho time of starting, Entries for Maiden Plate and nominations for Railway Plate Handicap, Opaki Stakes Handicap, and Hurdle Handicap to be made in writing, and addressed to the Hon, Secretary,' Masterton, not later than 9 o'clock on THURSDAY evening, NOVEMBER Bth. Weights for the District Handicap to be declared at tho Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on tho evening of tho first day's races. Acceptances for saino will close same evening, Nominations for Consolation Handicap to bo made to tho secretary. fifteen minutes after the District Handicap is run.
