His performances at Taulieronikau, where ho led his field throughout In the Spring Maiden, and would havo won the County Plate immediatciy after but for a bad start; also at Opaki, where he won tho Railway Handicap, carrying Bst 101b, and then ran such a good second for the Opaki Handicap, carrying Sat dlb, were well-tested exhibitions of courago and stamina, which established his claim to bo not only a fast horso but an undeniably game one.
