At Auckland, ran second to Perfume for the Eaoing-.Club Handicap, giving him two years and JOlhs. Won Auckland Derby, aud ran second to Ariel for the Auckland Cup-Ariel, 4 years, Bst 21bs; Danebury, 3 years, 7st 121bs, At tho Dunedin Autumn Meeting, ran second for tho Derby, having behind him Fallacy, Bribery, Hippocampus, and several others. As ft 4 year old, carrying top weight, won the Waitaki Cup, County Plato, J.C, Handi-1 cap, and Champagne Stakes, welterweight' for age. At Geraldine he won the Cup and J,C. Handicap, carrying top weight. At Ashburton he won the Cnp, carrying top weight, At the Canterbury Metropolitan Meeting, carrying Sat 71bs, ran third in the C.J.C, Handicap, won b/Mata, Gst filb; Ariel, 5 years, Bst 101b, second. Ban second to Trump Card, for tho C.C. Plate, after a desperate race of two miles, giving him 191bs; time, 3min, 44sec, At Tanherenikau, won Wairarapa Stakes, 3 miles, beating Lara and Otupia, ho carrying 9st w.f.a, Ban second to his stable companion, Mufti, 6st 51bs, in the W.J .C. Handicap (this race ho could have won easily had he been allowed). As a 5-year old at tho Canterbury Metropolitan Meeting he won the Free Handicap, carrying top weight, 9st, one mile, beating Foul Play, Camballo, Sinking Fund, Luna, Lara, and others; time, lmin 46sec. Won the Railway Plate, weight for age, halfmile, and tho Metropolitan Handicap,carrying Bst 41b, 1J miles, having behind him Fish-hook, Ariel, Longlands, Natator, Bribery and others. As a 6-year old served at a stud. As a 7-year old (and while performing stud duties) he won the Lyell's Bay Cup, carrying U 121b, lj m ,l e3l and the Wairarapa Jockey Orb Handicap, 2 miles carrying In lOlbs, in a canter.
