Press Association, Auckland, Tuesday. A fire at Otahuhu this morning, destroyed four buildings, the insurances ou which amount to £375.

■ Napier, Tuesday, The stables belonging to the Exchange Hotel, Havelock, were destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. Above the stables was a loft where a quantity of hay, was stored, access to which was by a ladder. Two of the proprietor's children, aged five and seven years, were seen "coming down the ladder, anil immediately afterwards the place was on fire. .The building was insured.
