(PItEBS.ABSOCUTIOK.jr THE ACCIDENT TO THE ROTOMAHANA. Dunbdin, August 6. The Rotoinahana was docked today, and was found co have sustained serious injuries aft. The stern frame is broken nine, inches below tho' base. The keel piece is also broken, six feet of it being gone. Two feet of the sternpost is broken off, and 43ft of the keel, showing that tho gavboavd streaks on both sides are twisted. On the starboard, sido about midships .are several large dents, and some rivets are started abreast. On the port side are several smaller dents. One blade of the propeller is broken right oft; and the three others are broken. No damage has been dono forward, Her repairs will take a considerable to execute. Later. The damage to the Rotomahana is estimated to entail an expenditure of £4OOO for repairs, which will take two months to accomplish.
