FEATHERSTON HIGHWAY BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the Featheraton Highway Board was hold on Saturday last at the Board's 'Office, Featheraton, Present—Mr Jas. Donald (Chairman), and Messrs Matthews, Bidwill, McDougall,.Jackson, and Riddiford. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. • Mr Tone, Assistant Government Surveyor, waited on tho Board, requesting the Board's assistance in carrying out the desire of the Government to legally take all such toads on lands over which the right to do so had not expired. The Board's .Engineer was instructed to give Mr : Tone what'information ho required in reference to roads already t'ken over by the . Board, and not yet legalised, It was also resolved—That the Board supply Mr Tone 'with the list of such roads as may be desirable further to take, where Grown grants. ar'e ; not yet matured.
