Tho action for libel between Mr De Mestre, the well-known owner of racehorses, and Mr David Synie, the proprietor of the Melbourne Age and Leader, on account of an article which appeared in the latter paper commenting upon the running of plaintiff's horses, was concluded to-day, a verdict being returned for defendant.
