Mr Stephen thanked the press in Masterton for the very fair way ia which they had reported the cures made. Boy from Gross's Creek, deaf from birth, but not totally, After treatment could hear a whisper (applause), Young girl suffering from weak ohest was restored to strong breathing. This oonoluded the morning's work of free healing, It was announced that a free healing for poor would be held at 3 p.m. Mr Stephen then proceeded to private practice, when several oures were effeoted. At 3 o'clock the hall was orowded to excess, and the following oases were treated.;—
Mrs Oundy, Tauherenikau had no feeling in her ankle and foot, and deafness and swimming in her head. After treatment she conld hear hotter, all pain from her ankle had gone, and she felt better. Child of Mrs Johnston of Matarawa, weak legs, No material benefit,
Boy blind one eye. The eye had been destroyed, and could not be cured. Girl blind one eye, and dim sight in the other, the effects of sunstroke, No benefit.
Mr Ticeburet, suffering from asthma of 13. years standing. After treatment he felt easier.
Woman who had lost the use of her band and arm, her hand was olanohed and
would not open. After treatment her hand .opened, she could raise her arm, and •he felt easier.
Woman offeoted with lung disease. After treatment she felt better.
A child treated for weak brain, through sunstroke, No effeot,
Mrs Montgomery, aithma pain in head and back. After treatment the e&id all the pain wai gone and the felt, better. Child of former (reatod for gathering on foot. Ordered magnetised oil, Woman treated for rheumatic gout of 11 ysats standing, also for palpitation of the heart. . Got great relief and felt muoh better, James Cornwoll treated for asthma. Felt easier. James Cross, Stonealead, rheumatism in arm?, and lumbago in back. Great pain at times. After treatment he declared to those present that the pain|was all gone. Mrs McUill same disease. All pain removed, Mrs Williams, spinal disease with pain in head. Fain ill removed,
George Stockdale, deaf in both oars, and defective sight in one eye. Hearing fully reitored, but could not see any better. Miss McLaren, asthma. Fully relieved. Girl named Cole,weak ancles. No material benefit.
Young lady from Mssterton named* Fry, who had been treated for blindness and partially restored. After second treatment could see much plainer. Mr George Wakelin here stated that while waiting near Mr Stephen on the platform he had regained the use of his arms, and could raise them above his head, what he could not have done for two years; he could also walk much better, He was looking very pleased at the change. Mrs Bowers, pain in back and head, and one eye defective. The pains were removed by haud, and the sight restored by power of the eye. _ A girl with weak wrist; could not hend it. After treatment could bend it easily and freely. Miss Jackson, lung disease, with headache. After some treatment could breathe easier, but headache was not all gone. This was the last case, except those whom he had to treat privately, but Mr Stephen announced that there would be another free healing this,, evening, coin* menoing at 3 p.m.
