Everybody smiled except the deacons, and tho minister was covered with confusion as lie began again : " This world is all a shutting flow." This only undo natters worse, and the unhappy man cleared his throat with ircmendoin force, and began once again: " Tins world is but ifloatirg she." Uten ho slammed the hymn book down, and Binitig his clammy brow, aaid : " Brethren, for some reason I cannot read tho hymn as it should bo read: we will omit it. and tho choir will •„:: pleaso flwin sing the g md old linos, be- :,: ([inning: "Just as I am without one flea."
