Weujnqton, this day. Thompson nnd Morgan were brought up again to-day, charged with having 40 gallons of whisky in their possession upon which duty had not been paid. A further remand granted to enable an important witness to be present, bail being allowed each prisoner, himself in £2OO, and two sureties of £IOO each.

_ George Taylor, a resident in the Porirua district, was charged with having in his possession certain instruments for illicit distillation, aud was also remanded on the sama bail
