CASTLE POINT HIGHWAY BOARD.

A meeting of the Board was held at Tinui on Saturday last. Present—Messrs Maokay (Chairman), Langdon, Smyth, Bellis, Miller,'and Williamß. : The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and the treasurer reported balance for future expenditure J!B9G. The report of Clerk of works was rend and confirmed. Correspondence read.—From ft. Wilsone re payment of grunt, for opening up Crown' Lands; same, asking the Board to recommend works required under the Roads and Bridges Act j sime, re Onunty meeting at Carterton j from s»me, asking : this' Board to assist Masterton Board in repairing Quaina bridges, Taueru road, and giving estimate of amount necessary to repair Blairlogie road.
