Another won £SO, and so it went on until about £2OO had; been oar'ried away from his room. By that time all the gamblers in the town were wild to get at the victim. Then his luck ohanged suddenly, and on one day of high play the Colonel put himself over ;620C0 ahead, ;No symptons of gout were visible when he paid his bill and departed
