MASTERTON VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE.

ArTBR til 6 usual practice last evening, a general meeting was held. PresentCaptain Muir, and . 13' members. W. Keester was' elected foreman (rice E. Dixon, resigned); Dixon junior branebman, (vice W. Broom, .promoted to Lieutenant.) Six new members'' were -eleoted, and tbree nominated. A vote of thanks was passed to Messrs Rapp and Hare for their kindness in presenting scrim and paper with which to finish the 4 . brigade's meeting, room. A vote of censure was pussed on two members who misconducted themselves after the late fire. A committee was appointed to obtain o prizes for competition by members of the brigade, and the meeting adjourned.
